Common questions

I forgot my password.
Tap "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen, or visit our reset-password page. Enter your email and we'll send a reset link that opens TrackAm to let you choose a new password. The link expires in one hour.
How do I delete my account?
Inside the app: More → Privacy & Security → Delete account. You'll be asked for your password to confirm. Deletion is permanent and immediate — every record tied to your account is removed. You can also visit our data deletion page for the web-based flow.
How do I export my data?
Inside the app: More → Privacy & Security → Export my data. You'll receive a JSON file with every row tied to your account — transactions, goals, debts, conversations, the lot.
I lost my phone — can I recover my account?
Yes. Reinstall TrackAm on the new device, sign in with the same email + password (or Google / Apple sign-in if you used that), and your data is restored from our servers within seconds.
The app doesn't reflect my real bank balance — what now?
Run a daily check-in: Home → "Time for your daily check-in". Enter the real balance per account, the wizard lets you log any missed transactions, and any residual gap is auto-booked as Careless Spending — or parked in the Unknown Money ledger for later.
Why is Stingy AI saying X?
Every Stingy AI message is grounded in your live data. If something feels wrong, check the relevant module (e.g. Insights for the leak figure, Forecast for runway), and email us with a screenshot — we'll investigate.
Does TrackAm support my currency?
Yes if it's GBP, NGN, USD, EUR, CAD, AUD, ZAR, KES or GHS today. More on request via support@gettrackam.com.
Is there a desktop / web version?
Not yet. The app is mobile-first by design. A read-only web dashboard is on the roadmap.
